Triveni Ghat is a confluence of three significant holy rivers; Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswathi. Thus, the name Triveni Ghat.

Ganga is believed to be joined by Yamuna and Saraswati rivers at the Rishikund (pond) inside the Raghunath Ancient Temple within the vicinity of Triveni Ghat.
