On a quiet morning of November 12, 2017, at around 4:54 AM, I sensed a presence near the wardrobe cupboard. Suddenly, a vibrant flash of yellowish-orange light zipped through my master bedroom window, accompanied by a loud "swoosh."
This unexpected burst of energy on that early morning filled me with a profound sense of connection, prompting me to reflect throughout the day and even to this moment as I pen this blog on this mystical spiritual experience. For the first time, I felt that my spiritual master was about to make a dramatic entrance in my life in a manifested form.
As I delved deeper into the experience, I meditated on the orange light that swept through the window, considering the symbolism and significance of its colour. This led me to the realisation that, upon leaving our physical bodies after achieving the highest spiritual state, we too may experience something similar.
Reflecting on the spiritual or cosmic connection tied to the energy I felt and the yellowish-orange light I witnessed, I recognised how such moments can cultivate feelings of interconnectedness with the universe.
This revelation from my Spiritual Master underscores the importance of acknowledging and cherishing unexpected moments of transcendence. Even the smallest divine or unexplained experiences can shift our understanding of both the physical and spiritual realms.
While writing this blog, I was reminded of the remarkable story of Ammani Amman, a devotee of Arulmigu Shiva, renowned for her story to be in two places at once during her visit to the Maharaja of Mysore. A respected sadhaka, Ammani Amman significantly contributed to the construction of the North Gopuram, a 171-foot tower at the Arunachaleswarar Temple in the 18th century, located in Thiruvannamalai, India. Through the guidance of her Guru, Arulmigu Shiva, she attained a profound state of consciousness. When she sought help from the Maharaja of Mysore to complete the temple tower (Gopuram), her humble appearance led to skepticism. However, both the Maharaja and the palace gatekeeper were astonished when she appeared in two places at once. In that moment, the Maharaja realized that it was Annamalaiyar (Arulmigu Shiva) himself who had visited him on behalf of Ammani Amman. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that with courage and divine grace, extraordinary accomplishments can be achieved.
Each day, I strive to remain receptive to the subtle signs and messages from my spiritual master, embracing the extraordinary experiences that break the mundane.
In reflecting on the transformative power of moments imbued with inexplicable energy, I encourage our readers to remain open to the early morning energies and ball of lights.
